Chantry Derby & Kincardine Hatchery Update

Headed over to Kincardine today to see if they needed help at the Scales, they didn't lake was rough & getting rougher, there were a few Donated Trout & Salmon for the Fish Fry & Al Wilkins came along & fillet them for the Fish Fry on Aug 11 from 4:00 until 9:00 come on out & help raise some money for the Clubs Hatchery expenses, there are 50/50 tickets on sail also for $2.00 or 3 for $5.00 at the Derby Weigh Stations.

Actually, Richard, we're fine on attendants. Thank you. There is one shift left open, but Mike said he's waiting for confirmation.

Still, this is a large undertaking and we need backups on short notice if any of you could make yourself available to us.

Where we did have an early problem was providing a foreman. That's worked out. 2013 is open.

Today, on day 7 of the Derby, we surpassed last year's total number of entrants. In 2011 we had 1179. In 2010 we had 1181.

As of now, going into our long weekend, we have 1207 entrants.

We are looking to surpass our club's recent Derbies by a good margin to help keep the LHFC enterprise afloat.
