Due to health issues we require a Forman for the Kincardine Weigh Station. Anyone willing to take over this position would be welcomed with open arms! Please email info@chantrychinook.com for additional information.
Irv Kennedy and Donna Wilson have run the Kincardine weigh station for the past 2 years. They took over from me when I contracted serious health issues. A single phone call, two or three sentences, a brief outline, and they said, "Yes" with no hesitation. About 2 minutes elapsed time. Now Irv has a situation and I thank him for his contribution and hope for his happy and comfortable outcome. Donna requires separate thanks. Irv did the fish, Donna did the admin. Thanks to both.

This task is shareable - two or three people can make it work. I ran it for a couple of years and will mentor anyone gracé that experience and my involvement with the committee. I can back up shifts to a limited degree as well.

Folks, this is not work. I'm sorry I had to cut back.

I met and befriended the top anglers on Lake Huron and formed strong friendships. I've touched the most impressive fish anywhere and passed pleasant times socialising at the station. I will continue to do so as well.

What most don't realize is that this job still allows one to compete. Shifts run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m, and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

We have attendants enrolled and will help with any shortfall. They do the actual weighing and recording. Foremen open and close the station. Most attendants are experienced (many past foremen and expert LHFC anglers) but full shift may be required on short notice.

I will not let this bone drop as I've invested too much time and effort during my Chantry involvement.

With no foreman there will be no Kincardine weigh station. That would be a travesty to the Rainbow crowd who have moved this year's Chantry to a new level. Ticket sales are our final gravy and we will lose seriously without Kincardine.

U2U me, Rick Dwinell or post here.
