Extended Mayfly

This mayfly pattern is a great imitation of the mayfly to make it more buoyant you will need to apply a floatant but it will attract the most finicky of trout.

Hook: Kamasan Whisker size 10
Extended Body: Medical tape with 3 Pheasant tail barbs
Body: Life Cycle tan Dubbing
Wing Case: Turkey tail
Legs: Light Tan Hackle palmered 3 wraps
Abdomen: Life Cycle tan Dubbing
Wings: Reel Wings (cut baggie to shape)
Antenna:2 light deer hair fibers (optional)
