• Chantry - Opening Day

Challenges For Kincardine Anglers Saturday 27 July Due to Bruce Power Beach Party!

Here is a brief description of what to prepare for:

The access road to the Harbour will close at 7:00 a.m. on the 27th. This will remain in effect all day until the end of the fireworks. As of 3:45 PM Huron Terrace will be closed from Harbour Street to Gordon Street. This too will be in effect until the end of the fireworks.

The North Pier will be blocked all day to allow for the fireworks display set up. The South Pier will be closed to the public around dusk.

Boat owners who have slips in the Kincardine Marina will have parking access. Arrangements have been made to allow Derby Participants access to the boat ramp until 12:00 noon. Please note if you do not have your boat out of the harbour area by 12:00 PM you will not be able to remove it until the following day.

Boats smaller then 24 feet are asked to use the Kincardine Hatchery ramp. We will have a Derby Volunteer working with Bruce Power at the entrance to the harbour. Please assist them with their instructions on this difficult day.

The Harbour area will be crowded as this event typically attracts approximately 5,000 attendees!
