Angling Sport Big Steelhead Photo Contest

The first ever Angling Sport Big Steelhead Photo Contest. Show us your best steelhead of fall/winter 2008. The contest is FREE to enter. The contest will run from October 6th, 2008 at 12AM until midnight of December 31st 2008. Two rounds of excitement for all anglers from novice to expert, the weekend warrior to the diehard of Steelheaders. Our first round will allow all entries to be made in between the said dates. In the second round, we will draw 25% of all entries. (Actual numbers drawn depends on the amount of entries) From this second pool, we will then determine the top three biggest fish.

HOW TO ENTER:

Simply take a photo of a steelhead (rainbow trout) that you have caught between the said dates of our contest. Two photos are required. One with the fish, rod/reel, and maybe yourself. The Second photo is of the fish and a tape measure for sizing. Send all entries to office@anglingsport.com in .jpg or .png format.

Photos will be displayed online in the Angling Sport Big Steelhead Photo Contest on the Grey/Bruce Outdoors website. (www.greybruceoutdoors.com)

PRIZES:

  • Biggest fish – Raven 15’ 3 pc IM6 float rod
  • Second Biggest fish – custom reel seat
  • Third Biggest fish – Steelhead tackle pack ( floats, shot, hooks, leader line)
RULES:
  1. Photo entries will only consist of steelhead (rainbow trout)
  2. Fish must be caught in any of the Ontario, Canada tributaries.
  3. Contest is open to all anglers 16 years of age and over.
  4. All anglers must have a valid fishing license.
  5. All entries must be caught legally abiding by the angling laws within Ontario, Canada
  6. There is no entrance fee.
  7. You may enter as many photos as you wish.
  8. Tournament begins on October 6th, 2008 at 12:01am.
  9. Tournament ends on December 31st, 2008 at 12 midnight.
  10. Photos entered may be displayed on the Angling Sport and the Grey/Bruce Outdoors website.
  11. Administration and Staff cannot enter the Tournament.
  12. Angling Sport staff will be the final judge in the event of a tie or with regards to questionable photo entries AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY ENTRIES AT IT’S DISCRETION.

Angling Sport does not assume responsibility or liability of the content of the photo entries, acts of angling related to the photos or of the entrants themselves.
